Jam Network Monitor

JAM Network Monitor, JAM NM, is a product developed by Dynasty that answers the monitoring needs for the financial self service market. Designed to monitor and alert about the status of the self service terminal networks at all time and to interpret the event information generated at real time, JAM NM transforms this valuable information into alarms and follow up actions that gives to our clients the total control of the situation.

JAM NM architecture has the following key aspects:

  • A Client-Server J2EE solution that facilitates the migration process to any application server that fulfill this requirement
  • A data storage system that save all the information needed for continuous monitoring at real time (devices status, among others); and a historic registry for the generation of management and profit reports.

The main functionalities are:

  • ATM Maintenance: general information of the ATM (office number, ATM, communication address, among others), assigned maintenance and security company, SLA time, responsible offices, the calendar of working days and working hours, status of active devices on the ATM, provider and model, offices where the ATM was installed before, technical and ATM cluster information.
  • Control of devices' status: definition of different security levels and actions for each of the devices' status.
  • Alarms: Logic alarms are defined, and can be customized through the complete ATM network at group of ATMs or specific ATMs level. These alarms can react to different actions.
  • Command sharing: Is possible to send different commands to the ATMs present on the network: automatically, manually, on response to an event or alarm or by the initiative of an operator. These commands can be: reinitiate, set out of service, make changes to files, activate or deactivate devices, transactions, among others.
  • View creation: each user can defined their own view, managing groups of users or specific ATMs with dynamic criteria.
  • Electronic journals management: users (if they have the permission requirements on their profiles) can access to any electronic journal sent to the ATM. They can also know the non-received journals that could be requested sending the specific command to the ATM.
  • Statistics and reports: Profit reports and operability statistics created by the ATMs of the network allow us to manage important indicators as: quantity of daily, weekly and monthly terminal transactions amounts of these transactions and geographic location of the ATMs that dispense the greater quantities of cash.
